In this short article, I am going to look at the awesome Shengqi 1/5 scale petrol radio controlled car. I will take a close look at its features, specification and most importantly how it performs!

Firstly, the ShengQi baja buggy is a 1/5 scale petrol radio controlled car that uses a powerful 23cc 2 stroke engine that gives this buggy awesome performance! This 2 stroke engine runs on standard unleaded petrol and needs 2 stroke engine oil to be added to the petrol to make sure the internals of the engine are properly lubricated.

The baja buggy looks awesome with its beautiful carbon effect bodyshell and many shiny aluminium parts. The baja buggy also has specially designed large sand dune tyres that add to this buggies awesome looks!

The Shengqi baja buggy comes fully built which means you can use it pretty much straight away. It also comes with a radio control handset with interchangeable crystals. The only other things that you will need to purchase are 2 stroke engine oil and unleaded petrol and 8AA batteries for the handset.

To add meat to the bones, this buggy has an awesome specification as standard with an aluminium chassic, aluminium shocks, a disk brake system, high torque servos and that powerful 2 stroke engine which all of which comes as standard!

But lets face it, all you really want to know is how this buggy performs? One word can describe this buggies performance and that is awesome. It has awesome acceleration which defies its weight and size and it has an incredible top speed of around 50mph! This means all of you speed freaks out there should be easily satisfied!

But dont be fooled into thinking that this buggy can only go fast in a straight line because it is also very nimble and handles brilliantly as well due to its balanced chassis and grippy sand dune tyres. It also has a run time of about 40 minutes which is pretty impressive.

This is undoubtedly one of the most awesome rc cars currently on the market. You get so much for your money with this buggy and it comes with a really high specification as standard. All in all, you get great performance, handling and reliability and a huge fun factor for around 415 which means these rc buggies will sell like hot cakes!
