Creating style with a nice dog coat for our beloved pooch isn’t very unusual these days. Most dog owners of any sort of feeling seem to be more-and-more looking at coats as a way to show their love for Fido. But they can also serve a needed purpose, which will be discussed later in this article. But for the most part, dog coats are yet another way to have a bit of fun with the family pet. Most of them are made from natural fabrics such as cotton or wool or as a mix. They usually go on without much difficulty, except when a dog squirms. Be careful when the coat has snaps or zippers. A dog’s soft underbelly is a sensitive area, and skin caught in a zipper can cause the dog to maybe lash out with a nip or small bit if they’re handled roughly or in a cavalier manner.

Dog raincoats are a big fashion statement these days. After all, who wants to have to bring back a wet, shaggy dog from its constitutional or walk? Usually, it ends up shaking violently all over the place and now you’ve got to wipe up the offending mess.
