Unstable surface training is the key to achieving six pack ab results without adding time to your workouts. Clients of mine that aim to improve six pack ab results have adopted unstable surface training to be their most influential factor in ab training. In addition to helping form ripped up abs, unstable surface training also assists with improving strength in the low back, decreasing waistlines, and achieving faster results in other aspects of fitness.
Having two purposes behind your training technique (i.e. strength and figure) allows your exercise to improve function with daily activity. By training your abdominal region functionally, it is possible to work on stabilization of your lower back, rotational trunk strength, rising from the floor with ease, and digestion. If you consider all actions of muscles you are training, you will stand a much better chance of stimulating areas of your muscle you would not otherwise recruit. You will feel stronger in daily activities, thereby enhancing your motivation to return to the gym.

However, the statement should be made that lifestyle modification is much better than dieting, in that it is not temporary. Seasonal affective disorder is also known as winter depression. It is called as such because it only occurs during cold days or usually during winter. A person with this disorder has normal mental health for the whole year except during winter or cold days. There are cases wherein people experience extreme changes in mood when seasons are changing.
A person with seasonal affective disorder often feels restless and unable to do activities of daily living. Depression and lethargy are also common. At times, elevation of mood and feelings of aggression may also happen. All of these manifestations occur yearly. Whats more odd is that it occurs specifically at a certain period. In addition to the symptoms, people with seasonal affective disorder may also experience feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, and loneliness. Social withdrawal may also be present. People with seasonal affective disorder have tendencies of becoming overweight due to overeating. Experts have linked the disorder to light exposure which is why it happens during change of season.
The main reason for the occurrence of such a disorder is not yet traced but medical professionals have deduced that it may be somehow connected to several factors such as gender, genes, and some hormones and neurotransmitters. Experts have also found out some commonalities among people with seasonal affective disorder. They have found out that the circadian rhythm of these people is erratic. Melatonin levels are also abnormal. Melatonin is a sleep related hormone that can cause depression like symptoms. The body actually produces more melatonin during a cold climate, which makes people sleep even more.
Aside from the circadian rhythm and melatonin, experts have also found out that people with seasonal affective disorder have low levels of serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is responsible for the modulation of anger, body temperature, sleep, appetite, and metabolism. With all of these associated factors, a disruption in the levels of serotonin would definitely be a cause of a lot of dysfunctions. Patients with low levels of serotonin often manifest feelings of depression or depression-like symptoms.
Feeling sad is normal especially if it is caused by circumstances. However, if sadness is prolonged and the person can no longer do normal activities due to extreme sadness, then it is already a big problem and the person should consider consulting a health care professional. Patients diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder are also observed for possibilities of bipolar disorders and major depressive disorders.
People with seasonal affective disorder will not have to worry because there are various treatments that are available. Usually, light therapy is given because experts have associated this disorder with exposure to light. The therapy is called bright light treatment wherein a specialized light is used to expose the person to strong lights. The person will sit at a distance from the lamp and will be exposed to intensive light for thirty minutes. The exposure can even last for one hour.
Replacement of hormones is also done to treat patients with seasonal affective disorder. Melatonin is given as well as serotonin. This is to relieve the symptoms of depression. The drug given is classified under Serum Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors or better known as SSRIs.
Patients with seasonal affective disorder may need a stronger support system so that they can overcome their disorder. Therefore, relatives as well as significant others should be able to provide emotional support to these patients.

5. Go crazy on vegetables. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds. Nature has a terrific spread when it comes to choosing vegetables. And the leafy green vegetables are your best bet. Try to include a salad in your diet always.
6. Eat intelligently. The difference between man and beast is that we are driven by intelligence while beasts are driven by instinct. Don’t just eat something because you feel like eating it. Ask your self whether your body really needs it.

Water is an incredible gift from Mother Nature for sustaining our life and body and keeping us healthy. Drinking 8 to 10 glasses a day is the normal requirement for an average person. Our body needs plenty of water to maintain its standard body weight as our body weight is 75% water. The vibrant and the main parts of the body like the heart, lungs, muscles, brain and kidneys depend on water for their hydration.
It is an amazing fact that water promotes weight loss by keeping obesity in check. It helps to make a person leaner and slimmer and heightens the glow of the face. To work at their utmost limit, our kidneys require a good supply of water. If there is insufficient water, the kidneys become less active and the burden is automatically transferred to the liver. The chief function of the liver is to transform stored fatty acids into energy for the body. But when the liver becomes burdened by the kidneys’ load, its own efficiency slackens and less reserved fats are transformed by the liver into energy. This gives rise to increased storage of fats and ultimately you start developing obesity. Overweight people need more intake of water than the ones who are already slimmer.
Water ensures that the organs are well replenished and moisturized. Inadequate water supply will force the body to starve the organs of water and this can cause various illnesses. Our brain depends on water to function at its maximum. A person remains attentive and energized throughout the day. Insufficient water can make the person weak, exhausted and drained of energy during the day. Migraines and lack of concentration are also very common problems which are experienced.
Water is beneficial for the heart as well as it aids in circulation of the blood and keeps the heart robust. The function of digestion is also eased as it aids in nutrient absorption. A soft glow in the skin is also observed as water expels toxins and waste products from the body. Skin disorders and acne can also be treated by drinking sufficient water.
Joints are also lubricated and muscles toned by the aid of water. For those suffering from intestinal problems, water helps as it prevents the formation of kidney stones and urinary diseases. It animates the character and helps in uplifting moods. It can also help to cool down the temperature of the body. This effect can especially be tested on a hot, sunny day.
Water is a perfect substitute for coffee and soft drinks. Where soft drinks and coffee act as diuretics, water will act as a hydrator. Fruits and vegetables are also an excellent source of water. For those who forget to drink water, the best solution is to keep a water bottle with you at all times so that the next time you forget or feel too lazy to go to the kitchen, you have the water at an arm’s length.
Cold water is considered harmful for the body and it also promotes a pushed out stomach. Cold water should always be avoided as it has a negative impact on your health. For those suffering constant constipation, water is an answer to your prayers. Drinking sufficient water will ensure natural bowel function and help to reduce constipation.

When you are mentally ready to submit to the rigor of a healthy lifestyle, then and only then can you focus and stick to your plan of physically training and properly nourishing your body to reveal flat, muscular abs.
It takes tremendous effort and control to live a life of health and wellness because of the tougher choices they pose to you. Choices that may take more time out of your day and take more energy out of you. But when you have made up your mind to embrace this lifestyle, you will love it and love how it makes you feel.
The mind processes what the eyes see so it is important to see your objectives everyday so that your mind can steel your body to go beyond its limits to achieve what you desire for it. Your body will thank you with a great physique when you give importance to your physical condition. Prioritize your health by marking wellness strategies into your calendar.
Now set that plan into motion by putting together multi joint exercises and a realistically healthy meal plan. Multi joint activities include jumping jacks, jumping rope, swimming, squats and running. These are great because they work the biggest muscles, which mean more calories and fat used up as their fuel source.
Now it’s time to get creative by mixing these up into a routine. Doing 5 in a grouping continuously then resting a few minutes before doing the grouping continuously again 5 times in a row will challenge your body to its limits and increase fat burning. For example, cycle-push ups-speed walking-boxing-squats without resting in between, then after the squats, rest for 2 minutes before starting the cycle-push ups etc. again.
With the workout program in place, you now need to make time for healthy meals to round out your fitness plan. This takes serious time and energy commitment as most people nowadays settle for fast food conveniences, which saves time for you, but loads up your body with unnecessary, dangerous and aesthetically disgusting fats. Remember to load up on vegetables, fruits and lean proteins to get your six packs on the way.
It doesn’t hurt to get active assistance from your friends and relatives either. They can be the best people to keep you going when you’re feeling out of sorts because they know you best.
Having flat abs is certainly desirable but there is no easy way to get flat abs. You can only get flat abs by working harder and that means coming from all possible angles to make sure you can achieve what you desire. Keep at it-you may just get those gorgeous abs sooner than you think.

Young golfers and older golfers can suffer the same pain related injuries in their knees, elbows and backs. Joint pain, inflammation and arthritis in all age groups can prevent golfers from enjoying the game and even keep them from the course.
